Anjaneyulu
How many times have you stood zapped by the sheer energy levels displayed by Ravi Teja. There are a lot of producers who think of him to be a minimum guarantee hero and he does disappoint them a wee bit. Movie after movie we see him chasing the heroine in a fashion that would certainly inspire the youth(!)
In his movies the female protagonist is portrayed as a character who is hard to crack but then she ultimately cracks under the pressure applied by the hero and this movie is no different at all as Nayantara acts pricey but then starts buckling under the pressure. His movies also have a fair share of fights and this movie has got them too and as an added bonus there are, according to the well known critics gory fights but I did not find them too gory to deplore them as I have seem far worse fights than them. Case in point being climax fight in Athadu where bone-crunching is shown and a fight in Chatrapati where the antagonist bludgeons a person to death with a sledge-hammer
Coming back to this movie it has some very good dialogues written by the director himself and they appear at the right times. A sampler of it is"Notiki vachina muddha ni, kalu degariki vachina moguduni vadhu anokudadhu" and when the protagonist says "naa body lo parts ki individuality ekkuva, okka sari pani modhaledthe vati panilu ave chesuku pothayi"
What can be held against the movie is that it is unviewable at times and not worth listening to at all as there is a lot of double entendre, which makes you scowl at the proceedings. What has been proved with this movie is that producers are depending on Ravi Teja to carry the movie on his shoulders and he is enjoying the new found responsibility to the core as Nayantara appears only five minutes before a song sequence and all the other characters except Brahmanandam are relegated to the background
Overall, like other Ravi Teja movies it makes for an entertaining watch and you would consider your money well spent
